Hello Group,
I'm unable find a way to directly send a request to the Intuit Technical Support group to address an issue that MUST be fixed.
This issue is that if you have IHSS (In-Home Support Services) wages from the state of California AND you happen to live with the person you're providing care giving services to, you can "exclude" the wages from both your State & Federal taxes; however; TurboTax erroneously "thinks" you made an error and will NOT allow you to eFile because your W2 shows "0" (zero) wages for your Federal & State, but you show wages for Social Security, Medicare and SDI (State Disability Insurance).
Because TurboTax did NOT allow me to eFile my 2023 taxes, I had to send my taxes via USPS this year, so my taxes had to be "manually" entered by an IRS employee. Sure enough, they made an error while entering my taxes on their system and I'm having to deal with them simply because someone at the IRS made a human error.
I called Intuit's 1- 1-800-446-8848 number for technical support, only to be placed on terminal hold and was unable to speak with anyone. Can someone please tell me how to reach their illusive Technical Support group? I need this issue to be fixed for the 2024 tax year or I'll be experiencing DeJa'Vu next year. Thank you in advance to anyone who can assist me.

The 2023 filing season is over and there is little or no support available again until January.
Right,
There's nothing to be done for the issue I experienced in March 2024 for my 2023 taxes. What I want to do is inform Intuit that they MUST fix this issue for the 2024 tax year so when I file my taxes in March 2025 for my 2024 tax year, this issue won't occur again.
Thank you.
