Using Turbotax 2024 Premier Desktop Mac.
Importing .txf file (created using TokenTax) for cap gains (long term and short term) for which there is no 1099-B and not reported to IRS.
.txf file is being imported as a 1099-B and there is no other option to check/choose when importing.
I need to import the .txf file to TT Desktop Premier 2024 so that form 8949 is created with box C/F checked and cap gains info goes to Schedule D lines 3/10.
This .txf file import has worked well the past several years, but in 2024 I am not able to import other than 1099-B.
Thanks very much in advance if you have any ideas/guidance.

I have been able to solve my own question... with the help of this site:
Form 1099-B TXF Reference Numbers
The .txf file that was exported through TokenTax had a bug and was created with incorrect holding period reference numbers.
The bug was reported to TokenTax and has been resolved. .txf files generated now have accurate reference numbers and are imported into TokenTax Desktop on the correct lines on Schedule D and form 8949 is generated appropriately.
If anyone wishes to interpret a .txf file (easy to open via a txt viewer) the site linked above is a great reference tool.
Perhaps put more succinctly,
I am using Turbotax 2024 Premier Desktop Mac.
How do import .txf file transactions which have not been reported to IRS and don't come from a 1099?
The 'import file' only gives me the 1099-B option this year when I import.
Thanks for any insight
