turbotax will not let me file and pay

I did my state and federal taxes and got all the way to the payment screen. Pressing the Confirm button does nothing. The page acts as if it's submitting the information, but then it doesn't ever update to show that the payment has been submitted or that the taxes were filed. My internet connection is fine. I've tried more than one browser. I've cleared cookies and logged in and out. I'm using the online version of Turbotax on my laptop. I want to pay by credit card, but I've even tried the choice to have it deducted from my taxes just to see if it would work, and it did not help.

Some customers are experiencing issues when trying to file but are looped back instead of being able to proceed and file.  We are currently investigating this issue. We will notify you once the program is updated.

Let us know if you are still having issues.  I would recommend updating your software and trying again.  

• If you are using TurboTax Desktop, please log into your program and select Online, Check for updates in the top menu.
• If you are using TurboTax Online, please log out of the program, clear your cache, and then log back in.  This should allow you to proceed with transmitting your return.

It's still not working. I'm using turbo tax online and have been trying to submit my taxes for weeks now. The advice about clearing the cache did not help.

What state are you trying to file? Have you tried using a different browser?
