Turbotax self employed - can I try before I buy?

Is it possible to enter in the information into this section and then 'back out' if it does not 'pay for itself' after my expenses are entered?

Yes you should be able to enter all your information before being asked for a payment, then at the end if you are not satisfied with the Self Employed version you can Clear and Start Over to use a different version of TurboTax (as long as you haven't paid any fees or registered your account).
