Turbotax not letting me efile 2019 return rejected on Oct 15 due to incorrect 2018 AGI. It says I have until Oct 20 but now on Oct 18 it's "not open for the season yet".

I efiled 2019 Fed tax return on Oct 15. I received message Oct 16 that it was rejected due to incorrect 2018 AGI used for identity verification.  Email says I have have until Oct 20 to make correction. Now, Oct 18, after making correction, I receive this error message "You cannot e-file this tax return because the Intuit Electronic Filing Center is not open for the season yet. We accept 2019 California Personal tax returns starting 01-27-2021 06:00 AM. We'll see you then!". It looks like a mistake, the dates are wrong. I've retried several times and receive this same message. Is this a glitch?

This is not going to help with your issue, but just to let you know that I had the same experience. I got a message today (Sunday, Oct 18, 2020) that my return had been rejected because the AGI was incorrect. I had filed the return yesterday, so had to efile directly with IRS through TurboTax. I know the AGI was correct, so I don't know if the issue is with IRS (I suspect it is, as I had trouble earlier this year with being correctly identified by the IRS system) or with TurboTax.  You might try calling TurboTax Customer Support.  Good luck

There seems to be a problem Efiling right now.  You should be able to resubmit it until Oct 31.  Keep trying.  And see this,

If your spouse died during 2019 there is a problem efiling and you will have to mail your return

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them.  You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places.  Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.
