2022, I got a $3K refund from New Jersey
I recently amended my return to include a K-1 I did not receive when I originally filed. This only had some losses that I wanted to make sure to carry forward
After amending, I get a letter from New Jersey saying I owe the 3K plus interests
I call them and apparently, in the amended form, Turbotax decided to reduce my withholding by 3K WITHOUT MY INPUT OR ANY WARNING
Is this a known bug? What are my options here?
It is the WORST experience as a user and I will be using a different software RUN BY PROFESSIONALS moving forward

1040-X replaces 1040 and becomes your new tax return.
Always print a copy of your completed tax return for your records, and review it carefully before e-Filing.
You will need it if you are audited by the IRS, to contact the IRS, or to amend if a TurboTax update changes your return or for any other reason,
AND, to find your AGI next year.
OR, to verify refund and amount you owe are zero when you are not changing any dollar amounts on your1040-X.
This goes for state returns as well as federal.
