Turbotax is giving me an absurdly high tax rate, when I do the IRS worksheet myself, I have a tax liability of over 6,000 dollars less. How do I fix it?

122,706 taxable income with 28,966 tax liability according to turbotax filing single. Using the irs.gov 2024 Tax computation worksheet Line 16 Section A I get 22,491

That looks like a program error.  Clear the tax return and start over.

If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return and start over. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2023 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.
