TurboTax imported my 2019 tax data into my 2020 tax return, including my 2019 state tax refund. The number on my 2020 (already filed) return is completely different.

Once the import was done, I double-checked to make sure everything was correct - it was, including the state tax refund. Before I filed, I went through every piece of income, deductions, etc. and clearly saw the correct state tax refund in there. Now that I' looking at the PDF of my filed 2020 return, I see that the figure TurboTax used for the state tax refund is several thousand dollars higher than the actual refund.

I completed my tax return for 2020 and filed it electronically but it was rejected.  They said someone else used my social security number to file a return.  I had received an alert emailed the day before and called the 800 number.  They said it would hold for 48 hours before the invalid return would be submitted.  I filed my return and it was rejected.  Now what do I do?

This just happened this evening.

@lifeguard39 It's likely that somebody filed a fraudulent return using your information. Contact us right away for further assistance.

In addition, you won't be able to e-file because your or your SSN or ITIN has already been accepted. Instead, you'll need to print and file your return.
