TurboTax Free edition incorrectly requiring me to upgrade

Hello,

When I get to the final file page on TurboTax free edition it states I must upgrade to deluxe because I am receiving the lifetime learner tax credit, but earlier in the process under deductions and credits where I uploaded my 1098-T form for school, it states that I am NOT eligible for the lifetime learner tax credit. If I am not receiving the credit then I should not be made ineligible for free edition.

Is there any way of rectifying this problem?

You might try going back to deductions and credits and deleting the 1098-t and see if it will let you file the free edition.
