TurboTax download continually required to sign into Intuit account

I'll just post this as a warning to anyone else who has purchased TurboTax Home and Business 2024. I'm not going to engage Intuit support, nor am I paid by them to do their UAT. I'd expect the product to work right out of the box, but instead I download it and install it and it continually tries to get me to login to my Intuit account every time I start it up. To top it off, when I do supply my proper login credentials, it wants me to get some stupid secret code. *Not going to happen.* Instead, it's going back to the store. I'll give H&R another try like I did a few years back, too bad they couldn't handle depreciation well at all or I would have left TurboTax long ago.

Intuit has decided that those steps are needed for user security.  There is no work around.
