I have the same question. I have MacOS at the step that I am trying to download 2024 TT return - but it stops me from doing so. I didn't use a keychain with my previous return - how do I get out of this problem?
TurboTax on Mac may request keychain access due to a permission glitch or when storing/retrieving secure login tokens. To resolve, enter your Mac user login/screensaver password (not the Intuit password) and select Always Allow to prevent repeated prompts. Restarting your Mac or deleting relevant "Intuit" or "TurboTax" entries in the Keychain Access app can also fix this issue.
Open Keychain Access (via Applications/Utilities), search for "Intuit" or "TurboTax," and delete these entries to reset permissions.

Assuming you are also seeing the issue where TurboTax for Mac asks for your "keychain", what it wants you to enter is the password you have set to log in to your computer. Please clarify if you have a different issue.
