TurboTax Deluxe (Windows 11 Pro) displayed the following text:
We need a it more info to see if you qualify
Checking for
Medical Expenses Deduction
with a Skip for now button and an Enter info button.
This makes no sense because I entered all into that TurboTax asked for during the Step-by-Step process to enter my medical expenses.
I pressed the Skip for now button and went through a few other pages. It eventually showed the "Your 2025 Deductions & Credits" page. It shows "Medical Expenses $0" when it should have had a dollar figure greater than $0.
I then went to Forms: Medical Expenses Worksheet. The worksheet has the correct dollar figure in Line 3 and the correct Medical Miles driven in line 9.a. Line 12 shows blank instead of my actual Total of medical and dental expenses (add lines 1 through 11j). Line 14 shows 0 instead of my actual Total deductible medical and dental expenses.
I deleted the Forms: Medical Expenses Worksheet and answered the questions as I did before. That did not fix the aforementioned problem.
I then pressed on Online menu's -> "Send Tax File to Agent" menu-item. It sent my tax file to an agent and displayed a Token number, which I recorded.

"We need a it more info to see if you qualify" - where did you see this message? Was it in the Review? Or was it somewhere else?
Would you qualify for the medical deduction (i.e., your medical expenses exceed 7.5% of your AGI)?
And what is the number of your token? You may need to print it "digit, space, digit, space" and so on, so that the software on the board does not redact it for being a telephone number or other personally identifying information.
Thanks for replying.
I thought that I was clear about where it happens. To make it clearer, it happens in the Deductions & Credits during the Step-by-Step process to enter my medical expenses before the Affordable Care Act steps such as "Do you need to report any 1095-As?". The Summary page says "We've covered 6 of 10 Deductions and Credits sections. Select Next Deduction Topic to continue.".
I just exited TurboTax 2025 and restarted it. It asked me to update, which I had it do. It updated to Washington Released 2026-03-26 Automatic Patch Pushing. Before I started working on my tax return yesterday, I had TurboTax update itself to Program Updates - Released 2026-04-03. Yesterday, was the first time I started to work on my tax return with TurboTax 2025.
It now states, "Thanks, we got all your Medical Expense info Right now, the Standard Deduction saves you most on taxes." I then went to Forms: Medical Expenses Worksheet. The worksheet has the correct dollar figure in Line 3 and the correct Medical Miles driven in line 9.a. Line 12 shows the correct Total of medical and dental expenses (add lines 1 through 11j) instead of blank. Line 14 shows the correct Total deductible medical and dental expenses instead of 0.
TurboTax Deluxe 2025 (no changes from yesterday):
WinPerRelease Version: [025.000.0290 version restored] Not a phone number, the same characters that I used yesterday. Stupid website community software.
TurboTax.exe Version: 2025.47.27.48

So everything is OK now?
The Medical Expenses Deduction now works as expected.
However, there is another issue, which I will let you know about, but I do not think it should be addressed in this thread. In the Retirement Plans and Social Security section, it added "Canadian pension information" or "Canadian Registered Pension Income" line, after I told TurboTax that I did not have any foreign retirement income.
