How to fix Tax returns that were rejected because of form 8864 missing

TurboTax can help you fill out your 8862 form, see below for instructions on how to find this form in TurboTax.  You can then submit your return again to the IRS. 

To find the 8862 in TurboTax:

1. Federal Taxes
2. Deductions & Credits
3. You may need to click on Skip to see all tax breaks
4. Scroll down to You and Your Family and click on Show More
5. Earned Income Credit (EIC)
6. Start or update

 Follow the interview questions until you see the screen that asks "Do any of these uncommon situations apply? " Then choose that you need the 8862 and follow the interview questions to complete it.
