Turbotax calculated a recovery rebate credit on my tax return, which has been filed. how did they calculate that?

I did receive stimulus check, though partial.  I would like to see the actual form they used to calculate it.  I am hoping I didn't make an error.

There is not a form for the Recovery Rebate credit, only a worksheet. See page 58 of the 2020 Form 1040 Instructions.

Since the Recovery Rebate Credit was included in your return, the IRS will automatically correct any calculation errors.

Do i need to file an amendment?  I filed on 2/13/2021 and have heard nothing from IRS.  TurboTax indicates my return was accepted. But I can't check the status with IRS and I haven't gotten a refund.

if your income is over $75,000 this will happen.

Your EIP is based on your 2020 AGI, so adjustment is necessary

unless somehow you report exactly the same AGI as last year.

Don't fret over it.

You do not need to file an amendment for any stimulus calculations. The IRS is reconciling stimulus payments and will make the adjustments.  See this FAQ list for more information.
