Just installed TurboTax 2024 Premier and have noticed that the Add Supporting Details functionality when you right click on a number or Box is not available. Any experience the same?

Try just clicking in the box then go up to Edit - Add supporting schedule. That works on my Windows Home & Business.

This worked. Thank you
not working on 2024 Home and Business desktop either. doesn't work from Edit pull down or right click. multiple places not working - 1099-int, 1-99-div
I have found that "Add Supporting Details" is available by right clicking in any Form I tested including 1099-INT in Home and Business.
The Edit option in the top menu bar advises to use Ctl+I to Add Supporting Details, or brings the field up upon selecting Edit.
I ran updates today. You might try again to see it if works for you now.
@Vickie_P
no updates available today.
Right click does nothing. Double click brings up the box, sometimes.
Cntl-I doesn't seem to work at all
Getting it from the Edit menu works most of the time.
A few spots won't allow it at all! :(
11FEB Deluxe Updated today.
Ctrl - I not functional
From Edit - worked once on a 1099 INT, failed the next time.
Can you clarify if you are able to add documents by right clicking in forms mode and selecting "Add supporting documents"?
I have not been adding documents. I have been adding details. I have been working in Step-by-Step, not Forms mode.
E.g. my bank 1099-INT has interest from 3 different accounts, so I have in the past, to the best of my recollection, right clicked on a box, e.g. Box 1 of a 1099-INT and clicked on "Add Supporting Details" and entered each account and the amount of interest received in a "Supporting Details" popup box. Today, if I am in Step-by-Step mode I can click on Edit>Add Supporting Details and open the Supporting Details box. CTRL-I does not work.
During my last session, getting to Supporting Details only worked once.
Today, in Forms mode CTRL-I does work.
They changed the interest, dividends and investments around this year. If it doesn't work in the Step by Step mode you can do it in Forms. Actually it is easier to enter into the Forms for these. And doesn't the bank put the total on the 1099 INT?
Oh did you get it to work?
I don't like how to enter Interest, Dividends, Sales etc. Too many clicks and screens to click on and go through. There is no table on the screen (except in Forms) and you have to click though several screens to add more. And after I manually entered 3 interest it didn't ask if I wanted it to stop asking to import. Oh and Interest, Dividends and Sales are listed in the same list on the screen alphabetically. If I go to Interest I only want to see Interest!
