I have 2 1099R's which represent the only income from which federal tax was withheld. The total of those 2 do not match what Turbotax computes, which is about 50% higher than it should be.

Since the total withholding you see is about 50% higher than expected for the two Forms 1099-R, check to determine whether one of the forms was entered twice. Return to the entry screens for the Forms 1099-R. Also, double-check any other information returns entered such as W-2s to confirm whether any of them also had withholding.

You were quite right. I had manually entered the numbers for 1099R and 1099Div before they were available for download. Then, I removed the entry for DIV, but forgot to remove it for the 1099R.
