TurboTax 1099 import questions

I am trying to import some 1099 forms from Fidelity for myself and my wife. We have two separate Fidelity accounts. I found after I imported my forms, when I import my wife's form, some of mine is removed and vice versa. Then if I go to import my missing files again, all existing forms will be removed. Unless I import everything from my account again. But if I do that, some of my wife's forms will be removed if not all. Anyone else see this problem? Any suggestions? I am using TurboTax Premier. Thanks

TurboTax 1099 import questions

seen a few posts like this and not seen a solution, you'll probably go round in circles with support on this and end up entering the missing 1099s manually, most are quick to do.  For 1099Bs you can enter as sales summaries but if you have any adjustments (wash sales, AMD) or non-covered items it's best to split the 1099B up and input as one-by-one with the details and the rest as a sales summary and check totals on Schedule D.  This avoid a requirement to mail the 1099B details to the IRS (with TT Online you can also upload .pdf to satisfy this).

when you finish your return there is a survey you can leave feedback on any issues which I think has more influence than posts here.

I have no idea if this will work, but after you import yours, change the name from Fidleity temporarily and any other identifying info for the accounts.
