Turbo tax tells me to file my taxes but says I have to mail them in. I did that and now they keep sending email saying i need to finish filing

Unfortunately, TurboTax has no way of knowing that you already dropped your tax return in the mailbox which is why you are getting the e-mail reminders. 

You can track the status of your tax refund on the IRS Where's My Refund site. You will need your SSN, filing status, and exact refund amount. The Where's My Refund site has the most up-to-date information regarding the status of your tax return and a specific date of when to expect your refund.

Since people do mail in their returns, Turbotax needs to come up with a button to let us indicate we already sent in our taxes, instead of repeatedly sending us these reminder notices.

Part of the automated response should be the ability to click a box to indicate I already mailed in the return.  Not having this is bad planning on Turbotax's part.

If Turbotax does not remedy this next year, I'll be forced to stop using it.  It's not worth the irritation, especially when other services are better priced.
