Turbo tax shows my gross earnings to be $35000 and change. My total gross was only $25,379 less $9433.90 leaving $15,945.65 net. I did not make $35K pls advise.

Did you have a Roth 401K contribution or fringe benefits. They are added to gross earnings. I would go to the forms view, and click on the W-2. See if the figures you input match your actual W-2, box by box.

Turbo tax added expenses to Gross, instead of subtracting them. This happened in auto download of TT.

No 401K/IRA. Turbo tax ADDED $9K of expenses and fees instead of SUBTRACting them. It all happened in the auto download done by Turbo from UBER site. Pls advise.

@stampstone OP is asking from TT Online, which does not have Forms view.  He/she is also asking from TT Self-Employed, and is apparently referring to SE expenses.

Do you get a W-2 or a 1099?

I agree with the other answer about entering the info yourself. On the 1040 you can find the line that shows your income. There is a spy glass you can click on which will take you to the detail.  You can correct the numbers.

Delete the auto download, and enter the info yourself.

And notify Uber of the issue.
