Turbo tax shows my federal return was accepted on 1/16, but when I click the question mark it says the IRS doesn’t accept returns until 1/29, which is accurate?

There are select tax returns have been processed by the IRS for up to a week before January 28 for testing purposes. If your return has been processed by the IRS during the testing period, your tax refund (if any) won't be processed and sent until after January 28.
