Turbo Tax sent alerts for income from an employer for 2024 that I no longer work for, I am concerned about fraudulent reporting. How do I find out?

I am not sure if they have information form this ex-employer or if these are general alerts. But it seems that something is fishy or why would they specifically call out that company?

TurboTax's marketing department sends out a lot of emails---and they are mostly just that--marketing to try to get your business.  If you know you did not work for that employer and you have prepared and filed an accepted 2024 tax return already, you can disregard that marketing email.
