Did you report any qualified dividends or have capital gains reported on your tax return?  If so, the tax tables are Not used.  The taxes are calculated using the Qualified Dividends and Capital Gains worksheet.

Yes, I had qualified dividends that gave me the lower tax rate.  Thanks for your response.
