Turbo tax is saying that my CA return is ineligible for electronic filing due to a corrected W-2 on my federal return.

turbo tax is sayin that my CA return is ineligible for electronic filing due to a corrected W-2 on my federal return. I don't have a corrected W-2 entered. but just to be on the safe side I deleted the W-2 do have in there and logged out and back in. Turbo Tax is still saying that I have a corrected W-2 entered even though there isn't any W-2 entered at all. What can I do?

contact support to see if they can do anything. you can allow it to access your return which users of this forum cannot do.

Can you post what was fixed?  It may help someone else.

sure! I was in "review" mode for the state return. I received the message and referenced a W-2 that was entered, but didn't give specific information about the form. The person on the phone showed me to to delete the extraneous form. On the left side, go to "Tax Tools", then "Tools", then "Delete a form", find the form in question, and delete if appropriate. In this view, it will list the specific information about the form.

In my case, since the specific information about the form wasn't listed in the error message in state review mode, it turns out that I had manually added a 1099-R, so TT was in fact correct, but didn't give me enough information in the initial message to figure that out.
