Turbo Tax is saying I didn't file using Turbo Tax in 2024, but I did. What is it using to make this conclusion and how do I rectify it?

Tax files are copied on a portable hard drive, and I did the 2024 return on another PC. Is there a confirmation file that I needed to copy to my portable drive?

Are you using the Desktop program or the Online version?   You need to copy the file ending in .tax2024 to the hard drive of the current computer.   You can’t transfer it from a portable hard drive.  Like I just copied my .tax2024 file from a Mac using a flash drive and put it on my Windows hard drive and it transferred into 2025 fine.

2024 was the desktop version (different computer), 2025 was online and a new computer.  The only thing they are using is the 2024 AGI, so I picked the option that was something like "I used different software" and manually keyed in the number.
