Turbo Tax insisting there are foreign tax implications/income because box 16 checked on K1. But corresponding K3 correctly shows only U.S. income from this partnership.

I believe there is a mistake in turbo tax. Box 16 does not necessarily mean foreign activity had to take place...but software not giving me any options. HELP!

there's a little box you checked for the k-3  uncheck it.

the fact that the box is checked or unchecked in Turbotax is not reported to the IRS.

there should be nothing in box 21 on the k-1.
