Me and my wife have non-deductible IRA contributions from a prior year. We entered everything correctly but form 8606 is not getting generated. Its neither in print preview nor in Form section.
Please advise!

ah yes I think that explains it
In TurboTax Desktop, to get to Forms 8606:
Problem is that form 8606 is not generated and not visible in Forms section.
I do see the forms under "Open Forms" on top left but when I do print preview or click "Forms" on top right, I do not see these forms there. Does it mean these will not be submitted to IRS by Turbotax?
if you don't see 8606 in the PDF or in your forms list without doing Open Form etc then it's not going to get filed, something is wrong
going back to your entries you said you had done, to clarify - you had basis carryover from 2024 but didn't have a contribution for 2025?
in the section under Deductions & Credits / Retirements and Investments / Traditional and Roth IRA Contributions, have you gone through that, and you will get a question
Yes, I answered yes and entered basis upto 2024.
I had non-deductible basis prior to 2024 and no contribution in traditional IRA in 2025.
My wife had non-deductible basis prior to 2024 and ALSO contribution in traditional IRA in 2025.
I now see the forms under Forms mode but its not showing when I try to print the pdf. Its missing there so I am unclear whether or not 8606's will be filed.
ah so I don't think you need to file 8606 if you're only carrying over basis and didn't have any activity (contribution, rollover, distribution etc), see Who Must File in the instructions
https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i8606.pdf
but based on what you described I don't think you'd have a 8606-T but should have an 8606-S in the PDF?
I can only suggest going back thru the IRA contribution section again. If you have 8606-S in the forms list on the left of Forms mode you can also try removing it (Forms / Remove Form 8606-S) and Turbotax should regenerate it based on the IRA inputs.
Yes, based on instructions, it seems we dont have to file 2025 8606. My wife contributed for 2025 but it was not non-deductible. I think thats why neither 8606-S nor 8606-T are getting generated.
ah yes I think that explains it
