Turbo tax 2025 is importing only summary of 1099-DIV from Vanguard. .  How do I get detailed 1099-DIV? Can I manually upload a PDF?

You can download all of your tax documents directly from Vanguard.

The tax software only uses the bare 1099-DIV.   The IRS doesn't want or need all the supplemental information that are provided in the extra pages.

For any extra entries that "might" need to be made by you, the supplemental information pages cand help you with any extra calculations you might need to make.

For instance, the box 1a $$ amount might contain some US Govt interest/dividends...depending on what funds you own.  Your state may not tax those dividends and TTX lets you enter those US GOvt amounts on the follow-up page...but you have to calculate the exact $$ amounts yourself using the data from the Supplement pages.  As yet, neither the Brokerage companies, nor the tax software companies....none have the ability to calculate those exact amounts and directly post them in your tax file....yet....maybe in 5-10+ years..but don't hold your breath.
