Turbo says I am eligible for $2,800 third stimulus payment from March 2021 however I am filing single and claiming my fiance as dependent. Both of us have received $1400.

Turbotax is saying that I should have received $2800 based on the tax info I submitted. It's asking if the amount matches letter 6475. Looking at my bank statements I received $1400 in March. My fiancé who lives with me also received $1400 last year. I am claiming her on my taxes as a dependent because she doesn't work and I pay 100% of the bills, food, etc.

If I put $1400 in the field it says I am due a $1400 credit which doesn't seem to be correct. The $2800 is just for couples filing jointly which I am not. And we've both received our $1400.

Yes you can get the 1,400 for claiming her.   It is really based on your 2021 return.   You get 1,400 for everyone listed on your return.   Even if she already got it based on 2020.

She received $1400 in March 2021, not 2020. Technically we did receive the 2800 from the IRS however we both received it individually instead of jointly. For some reason Turbo Tax is assuming she didn't receive anything and that I should have received $2800 myself.

After doing some research I know that $2800 can be received from two married people filing jointly plus up to two dependents of $1400 each. That's $5600 total. In my scenario if I were to say I only received $1400 than I would receive a $1400 credit which would mean we would get $4200 total which doesn't seem correct. In other words my fiancé cannot collect $1400 as a regular person and my also getting a $1400 because I claimed her as a dependent.

Yes you get it all again on your return.   What she or they already got doesn't matter.   It is really based on the people you claim on your 2021 return.   And they don't have to pay it back.   The 3rd Stimulus payment was an advance towards the 2021 return.  Not 2020. Nothing to do with 2020.   Technically and actually you did not receive 2800.   You only got 1400.  Yes you can get the 4200 more.

If you were married and filing a Joint return then you would have to put down you each got the 1400 for $2,800 total.  But you aren't filing Married Joint.   Since you are claiming her as a dependent you get her 1400 now.  It is a loophole in the IRS.

But the payment she received in 2021 was based on her 2020 tax return. She gets to keep it, even though you get another $1,400 for claiming her as a dependent for 2021. That's the way the system works.
