Tubotax is pulling an incorrect 1099-int from my bank

EIN is correct, so should be correct bank, but the info pulled in is incorrect

Which bank?  At least one is known to historically have some "import" issues.

ALLY Bank s returning incorrect 1099-INT information when I attempt to import data.  It must be entered manually.

You can manually add up the interest on each Form 1099-INT and enter one Form 1099-INT for Ally.  Or, you can enter each separately to be comfortable that you capture all the information correctly.

See the steps below on how to manually  enter more than one Form 1099INT:

Form 1099-INT reports interest from banks, brokerages, and other financial institutions. Here's how to enter a 1099-INT:

1. Sign in to your TurboTax account and open or continue your return
2. Select Federal from the menu, then Wages & Income (this is called Income & Expenses in TurboTax Self-Employed)
3. Locate the section titled Investments & Savings and select Show More, then select Start or Revisit next to Interest on 1099-INT
4. Select Yes on the screen Did you receive any investment income? then Continue
5. If you see the screen Your investments & savings or Here's your 1099-INT info, select Add investments or Add another 1099-INT, then Continue

After each 1099-INT, you will arrive at a summary screen.  There should be a link on that screen to add another one.   Then you go through the process again for each one.

Yep, ALLY has a problem with their tax import file format (Again) this year.  Not sure why their computer staff are having such a problem getting it correct.

Just manually enter the final 1099-INT form they show in their PDF file...the one that gives a simple Total from all your holdings with them.
