Trying to tranfer my 2015 cd version data from my pc to the 2016 online version. Doesn't let me because I already paid?????

You are correct.  There is no facility to transfer 2015 data.  There is also no facility to do more than one persons returns (I do my grand kids returns).  The CD version allows you to do up to 5 returns.  Go to the TT Facebook page and request a refund so that you can get a CD version.  I am in that process now and it is going very smoothly.
