I am having this issue on my Intuit Turbotax Deluxe where I am stuck on this loop for "We need to Make One More Check" right before I am to e-file. It keeps saying: "But before you e-file, we need a little more information that we didn't need earlier."
It keeps taking me to my Form w-2 Additional Wage & Tax Information for employment regarding my "Part V - Clergy, Church Employees, Members of Recognized Religious Sects" section. I check the appropriate box for paying self-employment tax on both w-2 for income and housing allowance... but it keeps returning to the "We need to make one more check" even when I have clicked the correct box!
I have checked this box and it does not seem to accept my entry for clergy status. When I click another of the options, which are incorrect, it seemingly accepts but then throws the taxes into incorrect amounts. Please help so I can e-file. Thank you!
Any recommendations? thank you!

Do you update your software?
Switch to forms on your top right side and go to form section "Form 1040" go line by line and have your form in front of you and verify your entry's.
It seems when that happens its looking for $ dollar amount & won't clear until an actual dollar amount is put in the field....0.00
I have done both of what has been recommended and still has not worked.
Sounds like it could be a software bug. When this kind of thing happens to me (it's rare but it happens) I select the option that makes my taxes corrrect and assume that I can always explain the miscategorization to an IRS auditor in the unlikely event that becomes necessary.
