Trying to file 2017 taxes with a tax transcript, will i be able to do so?

The TurboTax online editions are only for tax year 2018.

If you choose to use TurboTax you can complete and file a 2017 tax return by purchasing, downloading and installing on a personal computer one of the 2017 desktop editions from this website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/

A 2017 tax return can only be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed.

yes you can use IRS transcript to do 2017 return.  note may items are not reported to IRS.  but you are responsible for properly reporting all your income and expenses regardless of whether the irs was notified of them.

Also the IRS transcript ONLY has federal info on it ... it will not have any state withholding or income info.
