Trying to enter my 1099-R and Turbo Tax is telling me that box 1 is wrong, but it is not wrong. I first imported this form, then I deleted it, did it manually, deleted it again, entered it again and Turbo Tax still won't let me proceed.

What is the entire exact error message that you are getting? (I'm sure it doesn't say "Box 1 is wrong.") When do you get the message? Is it on the screen where you enter the box 1 amount, or somewhere after that? Is it in Smart Check?
Why did you get the 1099R? What code is in box 7?
