I have a Treasury Bond that has TWO (2) interest adjustments, Amortized Bond Premium and also Accrued Interest. I put both into one 1099-INT and TurboTax 2025 generated a page at end of return called "Additional Information From 2025 Federal Tax Return Schedule B Interest and Dividend Income, Interest Adjustments, Continuation Statement", showing the breakout of the two adjustments.
Can I still efile with this extra page at end of return?
I did try creating a new 1099-INT and splitting the interest, putting the ABP on one and the Accrued Interest on the other. However, the program still added that extra page at the end of return.
I want to be able to efile and not have to mail a paper return. Will this extra page at end cause efile to fail?
Please advise.

all I can say is I have one of those continuation pages every year with many entries that can't fit on Schedule B and have never had an issue with e-file
this sounds fine and normal, the continuation statement is just showing the line items that couldn't fit on Schedule B
note tho for the accrued interest adjustment if you have multiple income types on the 1099 (Box 1 / 3 / 8 ) then you need to split up the 1099-INT for the income you are adjusting (Turbotax now provides on-screen guidance if this situation applies)
Hi baldietax-
Thanks for your fast reply.
My main concern was if that additional continuing statement page at end of return with the Schedule B interest adjustments detail would cause a failure of efile. Because I have been told that we are not allowed to attach our own explanation sheets to a return for electronic filing, like PDF files. If we need such explanation pages, the only way to file with them is by printing/attaching them physically to a paper return and mailing it to the IRS.
So when you say "sounds fine and normal", could you please confirm having that continuation statement at the end of the return will NOT cause a problem with efile?
Please advise.
Thanks!

Hi baldietax-
OK, thank you very much for taking the time to answer my maybe stupid question.
I had just never had the experience before of a continuation statement being put at end of return by the TurboTax program itself.
I guess the difference is, if the TurboTax program does it, it's OK and doesn't cause any problems, but if the user needs to attach a PDF or Word document explanation page to the return, it can't be done electronically, it can only be done on paper, so forces a paper return which then has to be mailed to IRS.
Thanks again!
