I'm using TurboTax desktop for Mac.
After 2 days of trying to file my returns about 3000x and spending over an hour on the phone with a tax specialist who knew nothing about tech and said there was no number she or I could call for technical support, I am still running into the same error. When I try to file, the circle next to Transmission spins for about a minute, and then I get the following error message: "TurboTax was unable to send your return to the Intuit Electronic Filing Center for the following reason: A SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made. Looks like we've had a technical hiccup. Try e-filing again. If that doesn't work, you can print your return and file by mail."
I have searched and searched online and tried all sort of crazy things but nothing works. I've cleared my browsing history and cache and closed and restarted TT about 900 times. Please help!
The only advice I got from the tax specialist was to REDO my ENTIRE return using the online version and then try to get the money I paid Amazon for TT refunded. There's got to be a better solution!
