Transferring 2023 tax info to 2024 (desktop)

As I begin my 2024 taxes, TurboTax prompts me to transfer my 2023 tax information. The file they suggest is a file with extension ".tax2023" dated 3/09/2024.  However, I actually completed and filed my taxes on 4/10/2024, and that file is saved on my computer as a pdf file.  I'm just checking:  is the former file the correct file for the transfer into the 2024 program?  Thanks for the assurance!

I am working on a mac and had to update my operating system to load the 2024 home and business advantage program.  I will not transfer my 2023 data is this an operating system problem? It says it transferred but no data came  across.
