Transfer 2018 data into 2019

Transfer of 2018 data into 2019 turbo tax. Can not find transfer command

You have to be in exactly the same account with the same user ID to transfer 2018 to 2019, and you have to do that transfer before you start entering any 2019 data.

Hello:

I've logged in the same and it goes through the "transferring process" but zero information is transferred. I've tried it with both the pdf tax return and intuits own data file. neither worked in that zero information was transferred even though it says transfer was done. when it says transfer was done, it shows a screen of the info transferred and its blank? any idea what i'm doing wrong?

You might be in the wrong account.  Sometimes people start returns and then somehow end up using another account to prepare the return.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax?  If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.

Apparently when I transferred 2018 tax data to TurboTax Premier (for Mac) only the personal information was transferred. I have the 2018 data; how can I transfer it to 2019 work sheets?
