What form did you from them? W2 or a 1099R or ??
It depends. If you are referring to a W-2 as an employee, you cannot e-file without the federal employer identification number (FEIN). If you are completing a different part of the tax return and the FEIN is required, then you may have to file by mail.
Be sure to check your State Department of Revenue for the correct mailing address for your state return, if applicable.
You may be able to find the FEIN by searching online or contacting Toyota Motor Corporation by using this number below.
If you received a W-2 or 1099 form without a Federal EIN, then you would need to contact the issuer to get their EIN or obtain a corrected form. They do have a Federal EIN and it should be on the form you received, but you would need to get it from them.
If this is not from a W-2 or 1099 form please respond with more information on what type of income you are entering and how it is being reported to you?
