Total State Wages more than Federal Wages

I was in MO for my first month and then in OH for the rest of the year. On my W2, form, the sum of state wages (Box 16 - MO + OH) is more than the Federal Wages (Box 1). Is this wrong ? Why can this happen ? What do I investigate ? Do I need to have the W2 re-issued ?

Total State Wages more than Federal Wages

That is possible, since some states treat certain employee benefits differently than Federal does.
