I started my return on MyTurboTax online, but decided to buy a CD version. How do I transfer the info from the on-line version to the HDD version?

To save a copy of your TurboTax Online .2016tax data file take these steps:

• Sign into TurboTax
• Go to My TurboTax > Tax Timeline > Take me to my return
• Click on My Account > Tools
• Under the Other Helpful Links... Click on Save your 2016 return to your computer
• Your .2016tax data file will download. Save the download to your computer.
• Open your 2016 TurboTax desktop software. You will be able to Open the return in the software to continue working on your return.

For 2017 it appears I HAVE to pay for the online forms before i can download a copy of it to use on the desktop software?   ahh, I just needed to go to the 'tax tools' > tools center > Other helpful links > save your 2017 return to your computer
