I got rejected for being already claimed as a dependent. how do i fix this or do i actually need to

To correct this, you will want to go back in to your return and change this selection in your My Info. 

1. Sign in to TurboTax
2. Click the blue Take me to my return button 
3. In the black menu bar to the left, click on My Info
4. Next to your name, to the right, click the Edit icon that looks like a blue cartoon pencil
5. Scroll to 3. A few other things we need to know
6. Under Someone else can claim me as a dependent on their tax return, select Yes.
7. Continue to save
8. Address any other concerns before re-filing
