If you are unable to use TurboTax Free Online edition because you are reporting income or deductions and credits not supported in the free version you will be asked to upgrade.  

Another option for filing your returns, if you qualify (there are income restrictions) is to file your return through TurboTax Free File Program. The following TurboTax FAQ explains how.
