Did you put your name as the Taxpayer?  What kind of error message are you getting?

Did you get divorced in 2019?  Did you file Joint last year?  You might need to setup a brand new account for yourself.   

Online is only good for 1 return. But you can use the same email address for 5 accounts. How to start another return in the Online version

As VolvoGirl suggests, it would be a lot less work to just create a new account for yourself.  In your return, you can also click Clear & Start Over in the black bar on the left of the screen.

With Turbotax online, if you used the same online account previously for a joint return, it is almost impossible to remove your spouse's name from all the internal and hidden worksheets and program documents.  This is especially true if your spouse was listed first on the tax form.  You need to make a new account and start over.
