Are you claiming your mother as a dependent? Or are you preparing a tax return for your mom?
In MY INFO you can indicate that she is legally blind. On her own tax return she gets an added amount on her standard deduction.
If you are claiming her as your dependent, you do not get any extra credits or deductions for saying she is blind or disabled, unless you are paying someone to take care of her so that you can work. As for
"transporting" your mom---if she is your dependent, you can enter mileage for medical appointments as a medical expense. There are no other credits or deductions for just driving your mom around.
