The wrong amount is transferred to for 8959 from my W2. How do I fix it?

This is the medicare withheld tax. Turbotax has $7 more than the W2 amount.

The amount on form 8959 line 19 should match the Medicare tax withheld from form W-2 box 6.

To check if you entered the correct amount from your W-2 box 6 in TurboTax:

Go to the Federal section of the program.

  1. Select "Income & Expenses"
  2. Select "Job (W-2)"
  3. Click "Edit/Add" to the right of the Job (W-2)
  4. Select the W-2 and review your numbers.

I have the same issue.  My Form 8959 line 19 matches my W-2 box 6, but it is still transferring over additional tax to the 1040.  Please advise.
