The web form is not accepting my document number for my driver's license

Saying "The document number's first 3 characters must be entered." but I did enter that

If this is for New York State, you will enter the first 3 letters only. A lot of people have had this issue, don't worry. Entering the info this way should clear the error message and allow you to proceed forward.

And....make sure you are using only the first three characters of the Document ID

...it is NOT the DMV ID number.
