The program is not allowing me to do itemized deductions. Any suggestions?

I have a much higher rate of deductions but the program is not allowing me to use this. It only will give me standard.

Click on Federal on the left side of the online program screen

Click on Deductions & Credits

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Continue

Continue until you land on a screen labeled Standard Deduction is right for you

Click on Change my deduction

I have changed many times to the itemize button and every time if defaults to standard

These are the Standard Deductions for tax year 2025 based on your filing status.  Are you saying the Itemized deduction amount is the same as shown for your Standard Deduction?

Standard deductions for 2025

Single - $15.750 add $2,000 if age 65 or older
Married Filing Separately - $15,750 add $1,600 if age 65 or older
Married Filing Jointly - $31,500 add $1,600 for each spouse age 65 or older
Head of Household - $23,625 add $2,000 if age 65 or older
