The past two years my federal return was approximately 50% larger than it was in 2025. I have had no significant change to my income or filling status. Why is this?

Without being able to see your return and your previous year's return, no one here can fully explain why things changed this year.

Also, if you haven't done so, print out both returns and compare them line by line.  If you see an unexplained discrepancy, that might provide a clue for a topic to further investigate.
