The page that allows me to enter my HSA withholding information is no longer in the Wages & Income section. I can't get back to it.

Follow these steps to return to the HSA section -

  • Log into your account and hit the Take Me to My Return button (you must click this button first before searching)
  • Use the search function (upper right corner) and search for “1099-SA"
  • Click on the “jump to 1099-SA” link
  • This should bring you back to the “Tell us about the health-related accounts you had in 2017” screen that will allow you to enter your HSA and related information

Note:  While you still need to go through the above section and answer the questions to make sure the program knows you have an eligible HSA and enter any distributions you had over the year, the actual contributions (withholding) to an HSA are generally entered via your Form W2 with a code W in box 12.  The program will pull this information automatically, so be careful not to double enter your contributions.  You should only be entering any additional contributions you made outside of the employment relationship.
