I'd suggest deleting the forms and starting over in the federal interview. Here is how to delete.
If using TurboTax online, follow this path.
- Tax tools
- Tools
- Delete a form
- Delete all forms mentioning QBI Component, QBI Deduction Summary, or QBI Component Worksheet.
- After these are deleted, sign out and back in again.
- Go back and re-enter the information about your business again if you wish to claim the QBI deduction.
In the software, go to the forms mode and delete any form referencing QBI. Close the program to save the changes and then open it to re-enter your business information.
